We leave the conversation with no further clarity for the questioner, and none for myself.

We don't understand the subconscious mind.
Hell, we do not have functioning Theory of Mind, much-less one which works.
We know of the conscious and subconscious mind.
This thinking pertains to the latter informing, and influencing, outcomes in the former.

We are all lost.
None of us have it on straight.
Well, maybe not none. Yet, I have not met one who does.
Maybe that was the idea behind Jesus or Buddha or Mohammed .
They all had it on straight and we deified them.
We turned them into things beyond men, into gods.
